She is a founder of Miklat Israel, an NGO that assists the State of Israel in creating a sustainable solution for asylum seekers residing in the country and on the board of Women of the Wall.
I have always wanted to be a mom -- and have always wanted that to include adoption. I think I have seen families as something beyond a crucial, loving entity, but a force for social transformation.
